A traditional Cape Verdean house in Fundo das Figueiras, a village in the interior of Boa Vista, Cape Verde, listed at €136,000. The property sits directly on the village's main pedestrian square, a few steps from the church — a yellow house with green shutters, second on the left toward the children's play area.

Completely demolished and rebuilt in 2014 under the supervision of Oscar Espino Suarez, the house features a masonry structure with a Portuguese tile roof and exposed beams. Floors are polished cement in the traditional Cape Verdean style; doors and windows are handcrafted wood made in Sal Rei. The layout includes a bedroom with a double bed and built-in wardrobe, a multipurpose living room that functions as a second sleeping area with capacity for up to five, and a bathroom with WC, sink, bidet, and a large masonry shower. All electrical, plumbing, and sewage systems are new from the 2014 rebuild, with separate waste and grey water tanks and a private 1,000-liter water storage tank.

The quintal — a walled outdoor courtyard with local stone flooring — contains a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with fridge, gas stove, and double sink, a covered seating area, an outdoor shower, and a gravity-fed elevated water tank. The garden includes banana trees, a lemon tree, aloe vera, and bougainvillea.
